Modelling Resins

Modelling resins are an indispensable part of everyday laboratory work. In addition to the traditional red, variants in blue, colourless and tooth colour are available. There is also a light-curing version in gel form, which offers additional flexibility and application options.

PATTERN Dentin
Tooth-coloured modelling resin (autopolymerising)

retec® PATTERN Dentin is a 2-component modelling resin for the fabrication of aesthetic resin dies in tooth shade.

Product details

Indications:

Enables optimum working in the field of all-ceramic and resin crowns, without colour irritation due to the modelling base.

Processing:

The resin can be applied using both the brush method and the dough method. The processing method is similar to the familiar pattern (red), so no change to the working method is necessary.

Mixing ratio: 10 g powder with 5 ml liquid
Swelling phase: approx. 15 seconds
Plastic modelling phase: approx. 1 minute

Polymerisation takes place at room temperature (approx. 23 °C). Curing time: approx. 3 minutes.

LC Gel
Light-curing modelling resin

retec® LC Gel is a light-curing modelling resin in gel or paste form for precise, pinpoint modelling of objects for the casting technique and for blocking out. The material is available in two different consistencies:

- flowable but stable gel from the pressure syringe
- pasty variant for larger modelling parts

Product details

Fields of application:

  • Modelling of attachments, telescopic and conical crowns
  • Modelling of crowns and bridges
  • Modelling of individual implant abutments
  • Blocking of castings
  • Modelling of adhesive bridges, inlays and onlays

Processing:

The material is ready-mixed and can be processed immediately. Curing in all standard light units (310 to 520 nm wavelength).

  • The gel is applied directly from the pressurised syringe and is immediately stable.
  • The paste is used to produce larger parts and can be removed from the can with a spatula or wax knife and moulded by hand.

Features:

  • No mixing with the possibility of errors
  • Wide range of applications and easy handling
  • Smooth surfaces of the moulded parts
  • Easy to mill or grind and dimensionally stable
  • Fast working with high precision
  • Convenient processing width, hardening only begins with exposure
  • Easy lifting
  • High accuracy of fit
  • High hardness values
  • Residue-free burning

Colours:

retec® LC Gel is available in red, blue and colourless. Other colours on request.

Dosage forms / packaging:

Gel: 3 g pressurised syringe
Paste: 30 g tin

We supply both finished products and partially customised goods according to your specifications and wishes. Other delivery forms and packaging on request.
